No matter what part of the military when you win you are under the same entrance test - armed service vocational aptitude test of the ASVAB. However, the way in which each service branch of the score you get on the ASVAB test a little 'differently, and the Navy is no exception.
The Marine Corps must be registered ASVAB is a 32 on the AFQT test. The score on the AFQT scores from the word knowledge, paragraph comprehension, mathematicsKnowledge and arithmetic reasoning subtest, and if you
Score at least a 32, do not qualify for entry into the Marine Corps.
If you have a GED instead of a school, the AFQT score requirement is 50, but the Marines are an office of service more acceptable to the recruits as GED is five to ten percent each year, the recruiting class (as opposed to less than one percent for the Air Force). But note that a minimum AFQT score50 is required to qualify for incentive programs like enlistment bonuses, the Marine Corps College Fund, and the Geographic Area of Choice Program.
The Marines also have fairly liberal retest rules and retests are authorized if, considering an applicant's experience, training, or education, their score doesn't appear to truly reflect their true capability. However, a retest cannot be requested solely to attempt to qualify a recruit for an incentive program.
As for Marine Corps line scores, there are only three:
Electronics (EL)
General Science (GS) + Arithmetic Reasoning (AR) + Mathematics Knowledge (MK) + Electronic Information (EI)
General Technical (GT)
Verbal Expression (VE) + Arithmetic Reasoning (AR)
Mechanical Maintenance (MM)
General Science (GS) + Auto & Shop Information (AS) + Mathematics Knowledge (MK) + Mechanical Comprehension (MC)
